Bow Foodbank

An independent foodbank serving the local community

As we enter a second national Covid Lockdown, the Bow and Bethnal Green Foodbanks will continue to offer emergency food aid every week.

Both Foodbanks are considered essential services and will continue to be run in a Covid-safe manner:

  • Face masks to be worn by all volunteers and clients (disposable masks will be given out at the entrance gate to those who don’t have their own)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • 2 m distance spacing in the queue
  • 1 person collecting their food at time

We may have to reduce or change some of the items available as ‘free choice/ extras’ to further minimise contact.

There is no home delivery service. If you are self-isolating, you can send a friend, neighbour or volunteer to collect for you.

The regular Bow Foodbank session takes place on Mondays from 08:30 am to 12:30 pm, including bank holidays, at the Bromley-By-Bow Centre, E3 3BT.   You will not need to bring any paperwork or to have a referral.  Please get in touch with us if you need further assistance: click here.

Bow Foodbank is at the Bromley-by-Bow Community Centre, St Leonard’s Street, E3 3BT. Entrance through the park on St.Leonards Street.

The Bromley-by-Bow Centre is a 5 minute walk from Our Lady and St Catherine’s Church. It is close to Bromley-by-Bow tube station and Bow Church DLR station. The D8 and 488 bus also stop outside the BBBC.
