Thanks to all our brilliant volunteers and supporters, we have now raised half our target of £240,000 and still have another £100,000 pledged (we’ll count that when it’s in the bank!) …. this is truly something to smile about this Christmas 🙂

With your help, we are now able to operate through to about May 2021 (at our reduced bag value <£10/ bag). We dearly hope to increase the value of food provision back up to £20/ bag, and your support will make this possible.
Our volunteer management and fundraising team are also working hard on strategies to secure more sustainable and long-lasting funding streams that accommodate the scale of growth we have experienced. There will no doubt still be tough decisions to make, as purchasing and distributing near £1million- worth of food per year is way beyond the scale we ever envisaged. But with a new Chair of Trustees coming on board in January (more news shortly!), the Board and the Management teams are ready for tackling the challenges of 2021 and ensuring our best possible service to those in need of emergency food support across our local communities.
